Dragoje Leković was an extremely talented goalkeeper and a first choice keeper for a youth Yugoslav NT at the 1987 WC which they had won. He was known for good reflexes and positioning, but was also prone to mistakes. He was good at making saves on the goal line and also in rushing out on crosses and punching the ball away. He also took penalties for the team. However, he never reached his full potential after leaving Budućnost.

I have seen here in championship games, and I have read statements from his contemporaries that he took penalties in friendlies too.

Is there any source of him declaring himself a Montenegrin? I ask because he was born in Serbia and some sources lists him as having Serbian citizenship.
