Attack/Defence Awareness Card: Defence MindedINFO:Salem Marwan was considered one of the best Saudi goalkeepers and a legend of Al-Nassr. He was famous for his penalty saves in key moments. His bent stance on the line became iconic and his reflexes and leaping ability allowed him to save penalties that were even aimed at the corners of the goal. He saved penalties in important games like the semi final of the 1990 King's Cup and both the quarter and semi finals of the 1986 Asian Games. On the other hand, Marwan was small and so had trouble commanding his box, and often had problems with handling the ball. He spent his entire career with Al-Nassr, winning 3 league titles and 5 King's Cups, and won 44 caps with the national team. His career ended in tragic circumstances in 1990 when he was involved in a car accident that left him quadriplegic, spending 10 years in hospital.
