Certainly one of the best footballers ever, such a combination of strength and speed was matched only by George Weah. Gifted technically with good dribbling at full speed, able to produce excellent passes and good shooter. He had very strong shot, not always accurrate but very skillful from volleys and high balls. Also effective free kick taker, able to curl the ball and kick it strong. Very mobile and tireless, pressing the opponents all over the field, the leader on pitch with excellent tactical awareness and sense of positioning in the box but also good defensive contribution. Same as with Rijkaard, no weak points, except he was prone to injuries with his problematic knees and his character and self confidence which Fabio Cappello didn't like. But at the end Gullit proved he was right and Cappello wrong for writing him off with statements he's finished player because of his knees.
