He finished out his career in Major League Soccer, playing with the New England Revolution and the Tampa Bay Mutiny in 1996 and 1997; he was traded to Tampa midway through the first season and then back to New England a year later.
Galderisi, nicknamed Nanu (short) during his playing career, was capped ten times for Italy, and was part of his country's 1986 FIFA World Cup squad.
