INFO:

Salvatore Bagni is former Italian player, first right winger, then aggressive and impetuous midfielder with a good basic technique. Bagni began his professional career with two seasons in Serie D in Carpi and simultaneously perform military service at the Logistic Battalion of the Military Academy in Modena which won the Football Tournament "city of Modena." He then moved to Perugia - making a jump in class from Series D to Series A - in which he served for four years, beginning in the Serie A against Atalanta 1-1 on September 11, 1977 in Perugia. His performance allowed him passage to Inter on the eve of the season 1981-82 where he ended up replacing Gabriele Oriali as median midfield. It was in Milan that the then technical Rino Marchesi, the beginning of the 1983-84 season, stabilizes Bagni as a pawn in midfield. In 1984 Bagni was called from Napoli to reinforce the midfield and make available to friends of Maradona and his skills in the process of disqualification and build of the game, the midfielder was in the charge of Vesuvius team for four seasons, culminating in the victorious 1986-87 season , the first club title in the history of Napoli. In the following year (1987-88), Napoli, for several months firmly at the top, experienced a sudden crisis in the last days of results that handed the title after an exciting comeback by Milan. The final fall of Napoli was attributed, among other things, the open rebellion of Bagni and three other players: (Giordano Bruno, Claudio Garella and Moreno Ferrario) against the coach Ottavio Bianchi. The episode marked the end of the relationship between the four and club in blue. Next summer is the agreement with Bologna in Emilia where he starts moving preparation, but some legal loopholes related to the old contract with the capture of Napoli made his move (in rossobl├╣ will play one game against a local team in Lugano ) unpossible. Resolved bureaucratic loopholes closed his career with the shirt dell'Avellino in 1989.
On January 6, 1981 he made his debut with the National Team in Montevideo in the friendly against Holland (1-1) in seven seasons he played in national team 41 games, scoring five goals, including the first on 4 February 1984 in Italy-Mexico ( 5-0). He also performed with negative blue display at the world cup in 1986 wearing the number 10 shirt. Previously, he also played in the Italian Under-21, with whom he played 12 games scoring 5 goals including a hat-trick against Greece. He also participated in two European Under-21. In the 90's he was commentator for football matches in Fininvest, Stream and then to Sky. Since 2006, he comments with Marco Civoli Cup games in Italy and Champions League broadcast by RAI, is also the permanent presence in Domenica Sportiva of Massimo De Luca. He was later chosen to comment, again with Marco Civoli, the matches of the Italian NationalbTeam on: Euro 2008, Confederations Cup 2009 and 2010 World Cup. On August 10, 2010, in the match Italy-Ivory Coast (over 0-1), Bagni has been replaced in the technical comment by journalist Bruno Gentili.
