The last ever East German Footballer of the Year. He had very good instinct for a goal, and also was a decent technician. His greates attribute was his aerial play and the fact he didn't have weaker foot. His flaws were his inconsistency and also lack of strenght in physical duels. He won Oberliga twice with Dynamo and four FGDB-Pokal trophies. He played in three matches for NT scoring twice in two friendlies against Greece.
