Des Bremner joined Aston Villa in 1979. His main position was a right midfielder, but because of his versatility, he was able to play successfully on other positions. He was a human dynamo, his non stop running was his trademark. He covered every inch of the field contributing in both, attack and defense. He started his career as a defender at Hibernian, but as he moved to midfield he developed a decent technical skills. He stayed in Aston Villa for five years. He was capped once for Scottish national team.
