Jozić is a former sweeper or defensive midfielder. He played 162 league games and scored 15 goals for Sarajevo from 1979 to 1987. Then he transferred to Cesena where he appeared 189 times, scoring 5 goals. He retired in 1996 after shorts spells at Club América and Spezia. He capped 27 times for Yugoslavia, taking part at the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
A left-footed defender, Jozić had good constancy, was able at covering the space and strong in the air but also rough in tackles, not rarely committing fauls and sometimes getting suspended. Whenever he could, he tried efficiently to push forward mostly to support the midfield and occasionally to try to score.

He definitely was, also stuff like ATT/TMW/Passing abilities seems too harsh. Those stats make him rather look like a defensive minded sweeper while he was actually quite good in offensive abilities as well (at least that's my impression from him at the 1990 WC).
Milos and JeanMarc can certainly say more about him since they watched him surely more often than any of us did.

I watched either 1990 World Cup matches and anything I found of him at Cesena. My impression is that he joined the attack quite often but I didn't see over the top technical attributes. Still maybe I was too harsh. I'm thinking about ATT 70, green stats for TEC, LPA and maybe DA, like 81 for TW. Let's see if Milos and JeanMarc say something.

I'm experimenting with AGG 64-65 + Reaction (because you can't add the Free Roaming card to DMFs, and he wasn't Box To Box like Baždarević kinda was). He ran forward mainly after Yugoslavia had the ball for some time in the opponent half and was safe enough to him to leave the heart of the midfield, ATT and all the others mentioned abilities, yep, a couple of points higher at least
Yugoslavia played quite "on the edge", they barely played without defensive midfielders because he also looked like a third CB alongside Spasić and Hadžibegić, Prosinečki go low but without any really defensive spirit, Baždarević was kinda like Ballack defensively.

In others thoughts, he could still hold the midfield with DEF 80.

I think his LPA is too low here. He was able to make very good long passes.
