INFOS:

Celso was a center back who was a part of Porto team which won the European Cup in 1987. He was technically gifted player who was able to start his team attacks and could deliver a pretty good pass, but also was fairly strong defender with excellent defensive reactions. His main asset was his rocket shot which was dangerous especially from free kicks. He scored the first goal of the away match in 1987 European Cup semi-finals against Dynamo Kiev. Interestingly enough, he was chosen in World Soccer's World XI in 1987, despite not having been capped in the Brazilian NT.
