Defence MindedINFO:Bosco was a defender, sweeper or centre back, who played also as defensive midfielder. His career began in 1979. After spells at Seregno, Reggiana, Carrarese and Pescara, he joined Fiorentina in Serie A in 1987. He played 70 matches and scored once in two seasons here before transferring to Pisa. He stayed with the
Nerazzurri from 1989 to 1994, appearing 171 times and scoring 5 goals. He retired in 1998 after spells at Modena and Massese.
Bosco was a good player and long passer of the ball. He was a tough hard-worker in every single match. Despite his determination though, he proved not to be too consistent because his performances weren't always in top. At Fiorentina, coach Sven-Göran Eriksson said that Bosco was useless just like Rebonato, the other arrival from Pescara. When Bosco joined Pisa, that understandably had less pretenses, he became an excellent sweeper for the team, captain and a key player in the defence.
