BalancedINFO:Rosi was a right side midfielder or wing-back. He grew up at Fiorentina, playing in the first team between 1973 and 1976. Then he played a season at Ternana before joining Vicenza in 1977. He appeared only in a few matches during the legendary 1977-78 season but he remained with Lanerossi until 1981, playing 101 games and scoring 13 goals. He then transferred to Sampdoria in 1981, having a big role in the promotion to Serie A at the end of the 1981-82 season. Unfortunately he didn't have much space with the
Blucerchiati in the Italian top league. He retired in 1984 after short spells at Modena and Carrarese.
Rosi was a good midfielder, generous, who gave everything he could during the match. He helped in the defence, usually marking good opponents, but he preferably pushed forward. He showed decent technique when facing an opposing defender, good crossing ability that led to many assists for Paolo Rossi, but most importantly a very powerful long range shot that half times hit the bar and half time was just unstoppable for the goalkeepers.
