Is he really that bad in DA and TEC?
His 1st touch inside the box was good, he usually dribbles past the opponents before passing or shooting, he did well with both inside and outside of his foot

As I watched a lot of Liverpool's games and footage, I can say that DA 68 may look too low but he definitely wasn't a master of dribbling and technique. He improved a bit while at Liverpool but his movements on the ball were often predictable. The stats I would increase though are RES and MEN. From a defensive standpoint, Response refers to the ability to win the ball, especially with tackles. In fact, Konami replaced the stat with Ball Winning first and then with Tackling. He surely was a tough tackler and a RES on high green combined with Slide Tackle would make him good enough in that aspect. I also don't understand why that low Mentality. He wasn't just about stamina and running here and there. He was the type of player who puts effort and determination throughout the match to make up for his lack of notable technical skills. I'm not saying he deserves a yellow value but green would be fine, in my opinion.

Agree, I also don't think he was a ball master, but DA 68 is really harsh for a midfielder who regularly joined the attack like him.
