Attack-MindedINFO:To put it simply, Brian Little is a legend at Aston Villa. He was a flamboyant forward who formed a particularly prolific partnership with Andy Gray. Highly technical with fantastic close control and dribble speed, acceleration, he would often score some of the most important goals and if not - pass it to the one who did.
Joining as an apprentice in 1969, he spent his entire career for Aston Villa and went on to make over 250 appearances, scoring 60 goals for the club and earning a single cap for England in 1975 before his career was cut short due to injury at the age of just 25. Little was part of the club during its meteoric rise from the Third to the First Division and his goals helped the Villains win two League Cup Finals in 1975 and 1977.
Little is regarded as an all-time great at Villa Park, and in 2007 he was named as one of the 12 founder members of the Aston Villa Hall of Fame.
