Mircea Lucescu is one of the greatest persons in Romanian football history. Excellent player and amazing coach, in both roles he performed and proved himself on the top level. As a player he was mostly a winger, blessed with speed and good dribbling and crossing skills , but he was not a typical winger. He also posed as a playmaker from the wing who never hesitated to bring the ball in the middle and create chances for himself or teammates from there. A team player and a leader, he was the captain of the Romanian NT at the 1970 WC. He's one of the most decorated coaches in history of football.
