Zobel is former German midfielder. He was versatile player who could play in central midfield but also on side and as side back, although he began his career as striker. Pretty mobile player with solid dribbling and good heading abilities. He knew to make some good long balls and crosses from the set pieces. Zobel had good pace and was very agile. Zobel learned the football "crafts" Uelzen at SC 09, for which he - was seven times for the A-junior selection for the use and called 18 times in the National Amateur was - - Bundesliga before his first time on 20 September 1967 in Regensburg in the 0-0 draw against Austria, the last time on 25 March 1970 in Meppen in the 1-1 draw against the Netherlands. Aged 20, he started with Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga season. On 1 Round it stood in the starting XI on 17 August 1968 lost 3-2 at Werder Bremen gates. His first goal was hit on 30 of the connection October 1968 in the 1-2 defeat at Hertha BSC. He also played for Hannover 96 in five national and six international cup competition. With his second club - for whom he played from 1970 to 1976 - he had his most successful period: For the FC Bayern Munich, he played 180 times in the league 38 times in international and 33 times in the national cup competition and once for the B-team (14 November 1972 in Winterthur's 3-1 victory over Switzerland - on the side of Ottmar Hitzfeld) and achieved successes below. His last game in the Bundesliga in the 7-4 home win was on 12 June 1976 Hertha BSC. His playing career ended when he Lüneburg SK and began his coaching career. His coach of Dinamo Tbilisi was only short-lived war in August forced him and his foreign players to escape from Georgia; Zobel initially returned to Brunswick. From the 16th July 2009, he was at the Moroka Swallows in South Africa office. On 28 November 2010 gave the club and Zobel announced the separation by mutual agreement.
