INFO:Reiner Geye is former German right winger but he was more in midfield than on the wing. He was tireless runner, typically German discipline, rarely missed a game. Geye had strong shot scoring from all angles and positions, actually he scored 113 goals in Bundesliga. He was fast and strong, good dribbler and crosser. Geye was also skillful free kick taker with good curle on the ball and possessed high leap. His career began in Duisburg 48/99 TuS Duisburg and Eintracht. In 1968 he moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf. From 1971 to 1986 he was in the first Bundesliga for Fortuna Düsseldorf and the first FC Kaiserslautern active in 485 games and scored 113 goals. For the team wins, he played from 1972 to 1974 four times and scored a goal in the international match on 4 September 1974 in Switzerland. Rainer Geye came in 1977 at 1 FC Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga before he played for Fortuna Düsseldorf. During this time he also denied four A-international matches. FCK he had with 61 goals in 345 competitive matches large share of successes in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Geye 1986 ended his playing career, first as Vice President and later manager at the Betzenberg.
