Bobo was another very important part of Cagliari's golden generation. His favourite position was inside forward although he played many times as centre forward. He was complete player, never went too much for scoring rather for helping in team moves, providing assists for Gigi Riva. Gori had good pace, especially on the ball and great dribbling, soft ball control and decent heading abilities, very smart and cunning, he was strong as well despite relativly short size. He started his career very young in the Great Inter-sixties, with 10 appearances between 1964 and 1966. In that year he was sent to the province, the Lanerossi Vicenza to experience as part of the deal that led to Inter's top scorer Luis Vinicio. In two seasons in red and white scored 16 goals (8 per season, on both occasions was top scorer of the team) in 56 league games, contributing to the salvation of Vicenza. Returned to the base in 1968, played only 14 games before being put on the scales as a technical counterpart Domenghini with Angelo in the exchange that led to the Inter striker Roberto Boninsegna Cagliari. After the two won league titles with Inter as a reserve, it Gori won a leading role in Cagliari in 1970, forming a pair of attack well-stocked with Gigi Riva and doing it for many seasons to follow the shoulder to the big left wing. That year was also named national team, after 5 appearances in the "B". Began during the World Cup in Mexico, in the encounter against the hosts in the quarter-finals, taking over from their own team-mate Domenghini. He played two more games that year, at the end of the world championships. Cagliari's top scorer in 1975 due to the injury of Riva, passed in that year at Juventus, with whom he played much of the first season and racked up just 7 in the second race, which still allowed him to claim the fourth championship teams in three different staff (a record he shares with Ferrari, Fanna, Serena and Lombardo). Passed in 1977 all'Hellas Verona, closed at the end of that season, his adventure in Serie A.
