INFO:László Bölöni is a Romanian former player of Hungarian descent. A midfielder with a great range of action, with remarkable fighting power and great shooting power, strong and tenacious, he represented the "batailleur player" type in Romanian football. Ladislau was excellent box to box midfielder, good destroyer and creator in midfield. He had good passing range and technique. Bölöni began playing football in 1967 at Chimica Tarnaveni, for whom he played just 16 games in the first years Divizia C. In 1970 he moved to AS Armata Targu Mures in the Divizia B, with which he ascended at the end of the season in the Divizia A. There he made his debut on 22 August 1971 at the match against Farul Constanta. Bölöni was instrumental in that ASA was able to qualify in the mid 1970s three times in a row for the UEFA Cup, even if the club was eliminated in each case there in the first round.
