Attack / Defence Awareness Card: Defense MindedINFOS:Blagoje Paunović was one of the greatest defenders in history of Yugoslav football. He could play at every position in defense, but his natural position was sweeper, although he could play as stopper equally good. He was strong player, with excellent positioning and great leap, he was formidable opponent in the air. He was combative, known for his attitude on and off the pitch. In spite of his height, he was very fast player and because of that, coaches in Partizan didn't allow him to join the attack. He was faster than all of his teammates in defense and coaches thought - if he run forward, who'll catch the opponent if attackers made a mistake. IMO, him and Holcer were the best defensive duo in history of Yugoslav football. He still remains the best ever Partizan player never to win the trophy.
