INFO:Miguel Ángel Bordón was a former argentine left back. Before joining Boca Junior, he played for Talleres de Córdoba, San Lorenzo, Chicago and Chacarita. He was a dead balls specialist and scored many crucial goals throughout his career, like the two free kicks he scored against Atlético Mineiro in the '78 Libertadores to give the qualification to Boca. He was most of all a team man, quite versatile and reliable although he is most remembered for his goals and his offensive qualities than his defensive plays. He could also act as a central defender like he did in Germany alongside José Luis Tesare for the Intercontinental Cup game. He had a short spell with La Albiceleste, playing 4 games in the 1979 Copa América. In 1981, he was transfered to Argentinos Juniors (with other players like Zanabria, Salinas, Randazzo..) for the loan of Diego Maradona. He pursued his career in Mexico and Colombia afterwards before coming back to Argentina and retire. He died in 2003, surprisingly stroke by a heart attack at the age of 51.
He played 99 games for Boca and scored 16 goals, winning the '77 Intercontinental Cup and the '78 Copa Libertadores.
