INFOS:El Chino Benítez is another historical figure of Boca. A true professional who played 330 games (scoaring 40 goals) from 1973 to 1983. He was a gifted all around midfielder equally efficient in defence and when pushing forward. He mainly played as a box-to-box midfielder in the whole right flank of the team. His main attributes were his great technique and stamina, excellent passing abilities and huge sense of sacrifice in both ends of the field, although the fans sometimes reproached him to be too soft. It's true that El Chino rarely displayed his strenght against the opponents, he'd rather rely on technique and anticipation which made him a 'clean' and nice player to watch.
