Born 23 October 1942nd in Uzice Pozega, died 19th January 2004. in Belgrade. At 16 he became a first team player in his native Sloga Pozega, Uzice and distinguished himself as a forward-scorer, went on the Freedom from Uzice Tito (1963-1967), and the greatest success achieved in the uniform of the Red Star which is the 14 May 1967th and to 14 May 1974th played 400 games (of which 204 league) and scored four goals.

The uniform of the "red and white, played at the time when the Red Star dominated the Yugoslav football and won the most trophies: 1968, 1969, 1970. and 1973. he was a regular feature of the team that won the championship of Yugoslavia, 1968. 1970th and 1971. and the Yugoslav Football Cup. He played in place of wing half, was a reliable player - always restless, exemplary combative, fearless and tenacious. Only after one season playing for Red Star, he became the national team, playing in the period since 1968. to 1974. 46 matches for his team, for which he scored two goals.

He made his debut in the semifinals of the European Championships 5th June 1968. against England (1-0) in Florence and started the action that has been made the only goal (Džajić), and the last game in his first season with the national coat of arms took place on 3 July 1974th v Sweden (1-2) in Düsseldorf, at the World Cup in Germany. In 52 consecutive games team is absent from the team only six times!

He also received great international recognition when, on 31 October 1973. invited to the Barcelona game in Europe against the selection of South America.
After the World Cup in 1974, he continued his career in Belgium where he played for FC Diest, and 1977th is twice played in the American professional league in San Jose, where he ended his career. In recent years he was director of youth academy most successful football club in the country. He died in the 62nd , and is buried at the cemetery Topcidersko.
