Crispín Maciel is a retired Paraguayan striker. He was centre forward and winger. He was excellent in the aerial battles with good heading technique and great jumping abilities. Maciel had powerful shot and was known for scoring decisive ans spectacular goals. Physically strong with long stride and could take some free kicks with his strong shot but lacked consistency and was injury prone. In 1973 he moved to Spain. Appearing in his first matches with the own attribute, that of scoring crucial goals. In his debut against Elche, playing for Granada, made a superb goal, waving white handkerchiefs, he said. Then ended up in Tenerife and UD Las Palmas, achieving consolidated in those 10 seasons at the Motherland.
