Dinono was a left-winger. After starting his career at Seaqaqa, he transferred to Labasa where he spent the majority of the rest of his career. He joined Nasinu in the late 1980s when he was past his prime. He was also a Fiji Islands international.
Considered one of the most fearsome strikers in his prime, Dinono was a scoring machine mostly thanks to his thunderous left-footed shots that threatened most oppositions. He usually delivered his deadly blistering shots right after stopping the ball with his chest. Apparently, he could score even from direct corner kick due to his shooting skill.
