Curi was a right side or central midfielder. The unforgotten Perugia player spent three seasons with the Grifoni from 1974 to 1977, appearing 81 times and scoring 7 goals, before the tragic death in the field when he was only 24 years old. He played also for Giulianova and Como.
Curi was a small player, a tireless box-to-box runner who came up and down the field for the entire match.
