Jaroslav Pollák (11 July 1947 – 26 June 2020) was a Slovak footballer who played as a midfielder. Pollak stood out with great technique, flawless ball control, he was also adorned with immense fighting spirit and fitness. He was a player with two lungs. Pollak was the engine of the team and 90 minutes was not enough for him. The ball listened to him. He was not greedy for goals. Pollak was happy when he could prepare it or pass it. He could have scored it himself, but he offered it to a teammate. Pollak conducted the team excellently and prepared chances for his teammates.
