first, the lato was tip straight (WF) right and played for the middle (SS) or (AMF) mainly SS, then the correct positions are: WF, SS, AMF, RF / RS.
second, this speed is very low ... from him more or less these points:

Top Speed: 88-90
Acceleration: 91-93
Response: 84-86
Agility: 87-88
Dribble Speed: 86-88

JUMP minimun 83-84 and STA minimun 84-85, he was a very moving player, both to create plays and to score goals...

This set covers Lato's later years when he was a) slower and b) wasn't a classic WF anymore (playing deeper in right midfield, covering both attack and defence) :roll:
Maybe you should actually watch full games of a player before suggesting nonsense like that..

For me, the proposals on his position as a winger first and the increase in speed and agility are worth for the period from 74 to 78. At the World Cup in 1982 or with Lokeren he played as a false winger, right midfielder. This was already the case in 1981 during this qualification match against the DDR where he takes a rather defensive position (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6o79FB1A8c).

I think that, even if he kept a good speed and mobility, my set, based on this footage and those from world cup 82, takes into account this evolution in his game and his age at the considered period .
