Legend of Steaua, he was first choice on the RB position for ten years. Good at defending, he was also able to join the attack and deliver useful crosses. He wasn't too fast and he rarely tried to go forward with the ball, but he was always there to attack through a team play. On the other hand, against stronger sides (like England at 1970 WC), he was able to convert to a player of specific duty and to stay on his half during the whole match, focusing only on defending. And even then, he used to send a good long ball to his attackers. Overall, he was a pretty good team player.
