INFO:Grossi was a right-half or right-back, capable of playing as left-back and centre-half. His career started at Modena, where he played 125 matches from 1955 to 1960, scoring 2 goals. He then played the rest of his career at Venezia, making 290 appearances and scoring 9 goals from 1960 to 1969.
Even though he wasn't a natural half-back, he was deployed mostly in that position, but he was always efficient when used as right or left-back whenever his team needed him in the back-line. Therefore, he proved his versatility in numerous occasions. He was the perfect player to link up the defence and the forward line. He could exchange passes with the other midfielders or with the forwards to start the attack, carry the ball forward like a sweeper and drive his teammates, join the attack to receive the ball and attempt to score. In defence, he wasn't too good one-on-one against skilled dribblers and his tackles often resulted in fouls, but he was good at reaching and sweeping loose balls away. Of his Venezia goals, one was a header despite his short size, and four were penalties, showing a solid ability from set piece.
