INFO:Chetali is a former inside-forward and central midfielder. He spent his entire career at Étoile du Sahel where he played from 1957 to 1968. He capped for Tunisia 70 times from 1959 to 1965, scoring 4 goals and taking part to the 1965 African Cup of Nations as captain, leading his national team to the final.
Considered one of the greatest midfielders Tunisia has ever produced, Chetali was distinguished by his excellent playmaking abilities as he directed his teammates with his passes other than his leadership. Chetali worked perfectly with fast and opportunistic strikers who could benefit the most from his vision and vicious openings, either from active play or set piece. Always wearing the jersey n°6 or n°8, he was an attraction wherever he played thanks to his striking style of play, elegant physique and accurate crosses. Throughout his career, he showed other qualities such as mentality and a respectable attitude. He used to concentrate only on the game and was always fair as he received only one yellow card in his career.
