INFO:Seguir was a centre-back or sweeper who transitioned from his original right-back role. His career started in the late 1950s at JS Metouienne. In 1958, he transferred to Stade Tunisien where he spent the rest of his career, retiring in 1971. An international player from 1957 to 1963, he capped for Tunisia 49 times.
Regarded as one of the greatest defenders in Tunisia's history and one of the best defenders in the North African region during the 1960s, Seguir was a smart player, remarkable in his defensive duties. Known as the "Beckenbauer of Tunisia", he took advantage of his muscular body to win physical challenges and stop opposition's attacks.
