INFO:Fredy is former German winger. He could play on both sides, small and pacy player capable of making solid pass and score himself, technically good and agile but sometimes lacked concentration in finishing. In 1959 at the start of the round 1959/60, Alfred debuted in a 1-1 draw away to Viktoria Aschaffenburg in the Oberliga Süd. In the second year with coach Max Merkel celebrated in 1860 in the Round 1962/63 the championship in the south. In the final round of the German Cup in 1963 but the team failed to Borussia Dortmund. From 1959-63 Alfred was in 74 games with 19 goals in the league for 1860 South in use. Winning the title in the final league year was decisive for the inclusion in the Bundesliga for the 1963/64 season. In the DFB-Pokal in 1964, however took a further title. On 13 June 1964 won the 1860 Cup Final in Stuttgart 2-0 goals against Eintracht Frankfurt. For the second year in the league he played in all 30 games and made seven times in the opponent's goal. Peak was in this round but the entry into the European Cup Winners Cup final on 19 May 1965 at London's Wembley Stadium against West Ham United.
