Kurt Andersson is former Swedish ice hockey and football player. He was good and represented NT in both sports, very versatile player, endurable but also very good technician, calm and wise. He was great team player, played on all positions the team required from him but mostly as inside forward or right winger, had great understanding with teammates and could run and chase his rivals entire match. Andersson began playing football at Spånga IS, before he joined in 1954 Bällsta IK. In 1957 he joined the first division club AIK Solna, where in his first season, extended season of 1957-58, as was already eighteen years old on 25 missions, achieving twelve goals this season. After 70 games and 31 goals for the Swedes, he moved abroad. In the summer of 1961, Andersson went to Udinese Calcio in Italy, where he was active until 1964. He then joined the Varese FC. It came on the 4th of foreign professionals November 1964 to his only international appearance for the Swedish national team. As part of qualifying for World Cup 1966, the country's selection came at the start of the German national team. In Berlin's Olympic Stadium they parted 1-1 draw. 1968 Andersson returned to Sweden and played back again for AIK Solna. Until 1971 he played 58 Erstligapartien for the club. Here he met 14 times in the opponents case. From 1972, he had run his career in unterklassigen leagues. He first moved to the fourth division to Ekerö IK. In 1974 he went to league rivals IK Bele, with whom he became third in the league in 1975. Andersson joined 1978 as player-coach again in the fourth division, and managed with Bromstens IK immediately promoted to the third division. However, the league has been missed. Then he was player-coach for two seasons at FC Kedjan and from 1984 at Söderhöjden / Vasa. In 1987 he went again to Ekerö IK, where he finished his playing career in 1988. Andersson played as many Swedes parallel to his football career and hockey. When he joined in 1957, he joined AIK hence the hockey team at the club. In 1958 he went on with the team from the second class Division 2. During the first league in 1960 could be reached the finals. Between 1958 and 1960, Andersson has been appointed five times in the Swedish national team. With his move to Italy in the summer of 1961 he ended his hockey career. Andersson also belonged to the cadre of Bandy team of AIK. Although he was regarded as a talented, but he preferred hockey and it was only a single application for the first team in the league.
