INFO:Hans played as winger and inside forward, occassionally also as side back, but his career was hammered by injuries. Cissy had outstanding speed, could beome a sprinter as well, he run 100 meters in 11,4 seconds. He was never prolific scorer, instead he used to come very deep to help and take part in playmaking duties. He was very skillful and agile, good in heading, with good usage of both feet. A powerful shooter of the ball, Cieslarczyk also had a deft winger’s touch, great pace and could attack from both sides of the flanks. Originally an inside forward he quickly moved wide and later in his career went back inside to attack centrally. Typically for many wingers of the time, he was sometimes a bit too wayward but this changed as his career progressed. In the second half of his career he evolved a proness for injuries and couldn’t live up to his earlier successes. He played as a striker from 1955 to 1958 in the Oberliga West to SV Sodingen (1955-1958), for which he completed 74 league games in which he scored 20 goals. He then moved along with the attackers and Berking Jendrosch in the Bundesliga for Karlsruhe SC, where he played from 1964 to 1968 66 games, in which he scored 18 goals. In 1968, he got down with the Karlsruhe in the Bundesliga. In March 1957 Hans Cieslarczyk made his debut in the German U-23 national team striker left half, eleven months later, he came as a left winger to a second application in which he scored a goal. In between his first game was in the German senior national team when he Sepp Herberger 22 December 1957 as a right winger to play against Hungary did. In 1958 he worked as a left winger in the last two internationals before the World Cup with Sweden and scored a goal each. Then he summoned Herberger in the World Cup squad. First Cieslarczyk was not in the team because Herberger preferred the world champion of 1954 Hans Schaefer and Bernhard Klodt on the left wing. In the semifinals against Sweden Herberger then put on a half-links and Cieslarczyk shepherd on the left wing. After sending off against Erich Juskowiak Cieslarczyk although he had to play defense. After the 1-3 semi-final defeat against Sweden Cieslarczyk also played in the game against France for third place, scoring a goal in the 3-6 defeat.
