INFO:Tumburus was a full back and half back. He spent the majority of his career at Bologna from 1959 to 1968, making 213 appearances and scoring 4 goals. He played also for Lanerossi Vicenza and Rovereto, retiring in 1971. He capped 4 times for Italy, scoring once. Tumburus was a solid defender and excellent marker, unbeatable in the tackle. He possessed decent passing, shooting and heading abilities. Sometimes unfair, he showed more roughness and less technique especially when he was tired. He never wasted the ball, always ready to keep it with confidence out of the box and sometimes raiding towards the opposing area. Gifted with good sprint, he made enough but not too much movement and was resistent to fatigueness.
