INFOEnzo Robotti was a side back, fast and strong, stocky stature, tenacious and good in anticipating, very acrobatic and good in aerial play although little bit modest technically, could play on both sides equally good. Enzo Robotti has been one of the best right backs of his generation, formed with his fellow countryman Sergio Castelletti effective defensive pair in the late fifties and mid sixties, while behind them were initially Giuliano Sarti and then Henry Albert. Although his debut in Serie A with Juventus Robotti became a favorite of fans of Fiorentina who raced nine samples obtained, the best result, three consecutive second place finishes between 1957 and 1960. Furthermore, in the purple shirt, won the Cup Winners Cup 1960-1961 Glasgow Rangers in the final beating, lost, however, the final (repeated) against Atletico Madrid in the next edition. Also lost two Cup finals in Italy (in 1958 and in 1960 against Lazio vs. Juventus). In blue Robotti fifteen disputed meetings, taking part in the unfortunate Chilean expedition of 1962, which was the only one with Sandro Salvadore summoned to take part in all three races of the Italian national team. In 1965 he left the shirt purple Robotti to find a home to newly promoted Brescia closed three years later his career with the coat of Rome. After retiring Robotti has embarked on a coaching career. Began in 1970 with the collecting Montevarchi suffered relegation to Serie D. Then two years training in Prato with a sixth and a fifteenth place. From 1973 to 1975 Pisa, where the train gets a sixth place and the waiver of his first career coach. From 1975 to 1977 in Grosseto and then move on to Montecatini passing from Serie C2 to Serie D, but only after the reform desired by the FIGC championship since the 1978-1979 season. After a year of inactivity resumes from Spezia receding with him in C2. Despite relegation Robotti will be confirmed for next season, only to be exonerated during construction. In the 1982-1983 season, took over the leadership of Fano and then switch to Rondinella with which scores best season of his career in the 1983-1984 fourth place in Serie C1. Leave Rondinella in 1985 in consultation with the president Ugo Poggi. In 1987 is located at the head of a newly Cagliari relegated from the Premier League and that under his leadership highly likely another relegation to Serie C2. Consequently, the exemption that comes closes his career as a coach at a high level, made more than a career low and high.
Quote:
