INFO:Mancin was a left back who played also as sweeper in his late career. He spent most of his career at Cagliari, playing 157 matches and scoring 6 goals from 1969 to 1975. He joined the
Rossoblu from Fiorentina, where he played between 1967 and 1969. So he won two consecutive
Scudetto in 1968-69 and 1969-70. He played also for Venezia, Hellas Verona and Pescara. He retired in 1980 after a season in Serie C2 at Mestrina.
Mancin was solid and aggressive, mainly in charge of marking the wingers. In fact, Cagliari bought him in exchange of Giuseppe Longoni because the team needed a defender who could cover more than just attacking. Mancin wasn't though too good in 1-on-1 challenges and whenever he avoid his opponent to dribble him, he likely committed a faul. He had good speed and often made bursts forward in order to help triggering the attack from the back. He was effective as offensive side back when he reached the opposing box and tried to shoot. In fact, he possessed a dangerous and powerful shot. On the other hand, despite being able to serve his teammates decently, he couldn't properly support the attack with continuity.
