Stefan Abadjiev is former Bulgarian midfielder. He played mainly on the right wing or as inside right, but didn't have some specific scoring intentions, rather making quality passes leading to numerous assists, he was pretty fast player with good technique and skillful on the ball. Stefan Abadjiev-Teko is a former Bulgarian footballer, offensive midfielder, right winger. He played for Levski (Sofia) (1953-1968) and Wiesbaden (Germany) (1969/pr.-1970). There are 254 games and 38 goals in the "A" group and 41 games with 8 goals in the Cup of the country. In 1952 he became champion with Levski adolescents under the direction of Lyubomir Petrov. Three times champion of Bulgaria (1953, 1965, 1968) and four times winner of the Cup of the Soviet Army (1956, 1957, 1959, 1967). There are 27 games and 1 goal for "A" national team (1954-1965) and 8 matches for "B" National Team. Participates in the SP-1966 in England, but not in game. In 1969 he emigrated to Germany, he was the first Bulgarian exile from football circles. In Germany, Wiesbaden play in second division. Graduated coaching school in Cologne. He studied at Hennes Weisweiler and Helmut Schön. Coach Homburg, Saarbrücken, Neukirchen and Waldhof (Mannheim). For Levski has 7 games and one goal in the tournament for the European Cup. From his first wife, prima ballerina Iskra Mateeva a daughter Irina, who teaches at dance school in Nuremberg. From the second half Brigitte who is lecturer in English and French, has a son Tom.
