Hristo Iliev was one of the Levski Sofia legends who was killed in car accident just 3 years after Asparuhov and Kotkov died on the same way. Fast, penetrating, with an excellent pass, one of the favorites of the audience. In the autumn of 1968 he played his last match, handing over the captain's armband to Georgi Asparuhov. Patras was very good playmaker with good scoring capacities. He was born on May 11, 1936 in Sofia. For Levski played from 1953 to 1959 and from 1961 to 1968 (276 games and 99 goals for the tournament), Botev (Plovdiv) in 1959-1961, the (40 games and 9 goals). Champion in 1965 and 1968 Cup winner in 1956, 1957, 1959 and 1967 have 316 games and 108 goals in 'A' group. Scorer in 1957 with 14 goals. There are 24 games and 9 goals in the national team, which debuted on June 26, 1955 against Poland 1-1, last game on Jan. 23, 1963 against Portugal 1-0 in Rome. Participates in the SP-62 (scored the decisive goal in qualifying to France in Sofia, led to an additional third game). Cup winner for sportsmanship in 1966 Honoured Master of Sports of the 1961. He died in a car crash on March 24, 1974.
