Coen Moulijn was considered one of the most talented left wingers in football history. Johan Cruyff added him to his alltime favorite Dutch national team. Coen played as outside left but also inside left, great dribbler and very agile, with good pace and great crosses, light and mobile although sometimes knew to exaggerate with dribblings, great technician and decent scorer as well. As the left winger saved his strength for ten decisive actions per game, his playing style was often confused with volatility. As a result, the national coaches often doubted his value for the Dutch national team. In the summer of 1955 bought the dribbler city rivals Feyenoord for 28,000 guilders, then a large amount.
