Jan Mulder is former football star and columnist. He was the legend of Anderlecht, in nine years time, the Dutchman won five titles and two cups. In 1970 he lost the final of the Fairs Cup against Arsenal. Very strong and fast, two-footed with good instinct for goal, very impulsive and combative player. Mulder began his career at VCLT in Winschoten against VV Zwaagwesteinde. There he was discovered by RSC Anderlecht, where he would play seven years. In Belgium, he was with the club from Brussels four times champion. Also, Mulder once scorer of the first class in the season 1966/67. He was the first foreigner who performed since the Second World War. On 14 June 1972 he announced that he had chosen for Ajax, after fierce tug of war between Ajax and Feyenoord. The transfer fee was 1.3 million guilders, at that time a record amount for a Dutch club. A knee injury forced him in 1975 his football career prematurely. Mulder played during his career five times for the Dutch national team. But his years in Ajax were a disaster. He was never able to play at a constant level because of a knee injury. In 1975, his carreer ended. Mulder became a journalist, writing colums. Today, he's very famous in Flanders and Holland because of his writing. As a columnist, he has since 1978 to the 90s including the weeklies Time and Elsevier worked. For Humo and Newspaper of the North, he is now (2010) still active. In the Volkskrant wrote to July 2006 together with Remco Campert CaMu the column on the front page. The relationship with the Volkskrant clouded by the newspaper Mulders copyright violated by publication of a CD-ROM containing texts of Mulder. Together with two other freelancers Volkskrant, Hans Heg and Huib Stam, Mulder started a long-running lawsuit against the newspaper publisher PCM, the newspaper publisher and repeatedly condemned. Mulder finally hooked in 2001 before the final judgment on the grounds that it further litigation against a client not properly considered. Since early 2008 he delivers a weekly video column for VolkskrantTV and resumed as the cooperation with the Volkskrant. Together with Remco Campert he pulled a few years from theater to theater with a literary program ("Toe" (1993) and "Memories" (1995)). In 2004, the two men responsible for the text of the Grand Dictation of the Dutch language, which she wore on.
