One of the best German keepers, Franz Beckenbauer said if Nigbur was Bayern player he would have won 100 caps for Germany. Nigbur was the best PK saver in bundesliga history, saving 25 out of 31 penalties. He was keeper with good playing habits since he started as striker, had fantastic reflexes and excellent jumping abilities. Norbert had also good positioning on the line and long drop kicks.
