Attack / Defence Awareness Card: Defense MindedINFOS:Vladimir Durković was an amazing player, he's a legend of both Red Star and Saint-Étienne. He played primarily as a full back, but also was able to play as a center back and on half back position. He was known for his combative style of play, he was a player with attitude and was a really tough opponent for anyone who faced him. He specialized in marking opponents. He was blessed with speed and good defensive awareness. In his younger days, he joined the attack from time to time and he could deliver useful crosses to his teammates and even score some goals. Later in his career, he focused mainly on defending his goal and he improved defensively even more. He possessed decent technique and passing ability, but he always played without much risk, passing the ball to his closest and more creative teammate. He's considered as one of the best Serbian full backs ever. His life ended tragically - he was shot by a drunk police officer on 22.06.1972. in Switzerland.
