Tough and strong player with powerful shot. He wasn't the most gifted player technically, but could make good offensive run on the left flank followed by rocket shot or useful cross. He sometimes looked clumsy with errors in passing, but he had solid dribbling and crosses. Jan was used also as centre back and was skillful with his weaker right foot as well. Zlocha was born March 24, 1942 in Bratislava. Left back with a hard shot played for Slovan, Spartak Trnava and Dukla Praha total 203 league meetings and scored 8 goals. He joined the four interstate meetings, participated in the World Cup 1970 and the Olympics in 1968 in Mexico. So Spartak won the first federal title (1968) and Central European Cup (1967), when the "White Angel" scrapped three Italian clubs - AS Roma, which celebrated its 40th anniversary, and also Lazio and Fiorentina in the final doubleheader succeed with dozs Újpest. With Slovan rejoiced Cup Winners' Cup (1969) and champions (1970 and 1974), playing for Dukla Praha forward in the year 1966/1967 through Esbjerg, Anderlecht and Ajax Amsterdam to the semifinals of the European Champions Cup, in which "soldiers" decommissioned later champion Celtic Glasgow.
