INFO:
Reece was a winger or side midfielder, who played mainly on the left. Very versatile, he could adapt himself to any attacking position. His career began in 1961. After some seasons in lower leagues, he joined Sheffield United in 1965. He scored a total of 67 goals in 241 matches for the "Blades" in eight seasons. He then played for Cardiff City and Swansea City before retiring in 1977. He capped 29 times for Wales, scoring twice.
A good player, Reece was very tricky and fast. He was a threat on the flank when he sprinted forward with the ball on his feet. He was clever and elusive for the opposing defenders, who had troubles at marking him and taking the ball away from him. Despite his short size, he was tough, surprisingly effective in the air and gifted with a vicious shot, especially first time. He could deliver good short passes, either low to the ground or slightly lifted, while his crosses had speed but not much accuracy.
