Valadè was a left back. His career began in 1956 at Inter, where he played only 10 matches in three seasons. He then had short spells at Palermo and Spal before joining Foggia in 1962. He became a legend of the Rossoneri, appearing 231 times until he left in 1970. He retired one year later after a season at Maceratese.
Valadè was a reliable full back in defence but was also effective in attack. Gifted with good sprint, he liked pushing forward every now and then. He also possessed a thunderous shot and good volley ability, proved by his 7 goals with Foggia. Whenever he didn't look for space to shoot, he ran down the flank to deliver a pass or a cross.
