INFOS:

Miodrag Јоvanović, mostly known by his nickname Minda, was an excellent Yugoslav defender in after war period. He's an iconic player of Partizan and he mostly played on center-half position. He was brilliant defender, his way of play was mostly focused on defense and he did that job very successful. Most of his contemporaries who played as strikers, told that he was their hardest opponent. He developed excellent defensive technique and great anticipation so he mostly took the ball away without contact with the opponent. He was simply unbeatable in the air and that was his greatest asset. He was't to bad in technical terms, but since he solely focused on defence, he didn't show those abilities much on the pitch. He was a part of Yugoslav NT in 1948 Olympics where they won silver medal and in 1950 World Cup where due to unlucky circumstances Yugoslavia was eliminated in the first group stage.
