INFO:Muccinelli was a right winger. He spent the majority of his career at Juventus, making 226 appearances from 1946 to 1955 plus 18 more in 1958-59, scoring 69 goals. He had a good three-year spell at Lazio from 1955 to 1958, scoring 20 goals in 93 matches. He played also for Biellese and Como, retiring in 1961. He capped for Italy in 15 occasions, scoring 4 goals.
One of the most spectacular Juventus players of the 1950s, Muccinelli was extremely short, capable of beating any defender, causing trouble even to the best defensive lines with his irresistible dribbling and outstanding sprints. He was talented, smart, uncatchable in the last ten meters. And if all this wasn't enough, he sometimes was moved to the other side or even to the center for specific actions in order to increase his unpredictability. The defenders often had to tackle him down and this resulted in some injuries for the winger. He was prolific in front of the goal, excellent in providing crosses after dribbling the full-backs numerous times if needed. He would reach the goal-line if possible and give the ball huge effect. Moreover, he was unselfish due to his constant help in the defensive phase. He rocketed himself towards the opponent in possession of the ball to recover it, eventually passing it to a teammate. Otherwise, he may even retreat with the ball to trigger the offense from the back. He would then control the inside of the opposing team to help his teammates keeping the possession of the ball.
