Not having a great physique, he was more about great agility, elasticity and elevation. He could reach easily everyone and kick the ball away jumping incredibly high, even with a bycicle kick which was his specialty. He scored only 1 goal in 425 games so all the shooting stats seem too overrated here. However it was said that he scored from around 70 metres (probably the exact distance was 35-40 metres but still long enough). He was the typical full back of those years, no attack and all marking.
