INFO:Former Austrian striker and the younger of two brothers. Alfred was technically inferior to his brother Robert, neither had pace and grace of Robert's level. On the other side he was better scorer and especially shooter. Alfred had wide variety of shots, he was most famous for his curled shots from tight angles, besides had solid aerial play and knew to make good cross as well. When playing as inside forward, he was very active in playmaking, often dropping back in midfield. On 14 February 1926-born players cult occupied mostly with his older brother Robert and a half years outside the offensive positions in rapid and the national team. After his career in Hütteldorf kicked Alfred Körner solid performance - three and a half years at the Admiralty, and as long thereafter in Vienna. Austria's national team for 47 countries attended grains games (14 goals), was third in the 1954 World Cup and Switzerland also took part in the World Cup 1958 in Sweden. In the war years they managed together in the senior squad, after 1945 they belonged to the legendary team of rapid post-war era, which caused a stir nationally and internationally.
